The German-owned Bruker Corporation has already completed acquisitions this year of Phasefocus, NION, Tornado Spectral Systems, Nanophoton, Spectral Instruments Imaging, and Chemspeed. They now have two new companies in their portfolio.
Bruker announced on May 2, 2024 their acquisition of ELITech Group, a provider of in-vitro molecular diagnostic equipment.
ELITech will be renamed as "Bruker Molecular Diagnostics" underneath the Bruker Microbiology & Infection Diagnostics division, in the same business group as Bruker Daltonics and Bruker Optics.
Bruker then announced on May 6, 2024 their acquisition of Seattle, Washington based Nanostring Technologies, Inc., which specializes in "spatial transcriptomics and gene expression analysis".
