CRAIC Technologies from San Dimas, California, has released a new instrument solutions called "5D Spectral Surface Mapping™". The point of this solution is to bring together multiple microscope techniques into a single system for "spectral mapping". These techniques include UV Light, Visible Light, Near Infra Red Light, Raman and Photoluminescence. Paired with mapping algorithms, the instrument is then able to construct complex chemical maps of a sample.
